and then there were....

3

Nick and I are excited  to announce that Baby Davis #3 will be arriving early March 2017. We still want to adopt but wanted to try one more time to have a biological child. It seems whenever we start sleeping super well we begin to think about having more kids, crazy I know.

Anyways, this pregnancy has been very different and challenging at times but we are thankful that God has blessed us with another little one to love on in a few months. There are many times when I am on the couch sick and complaining. It is in those low moments where I am reminded what a gift it is to be able to carry another baby and I don't want to take that for granted. I hear so many stories of loss, disappointment, and sadness when it comes to pregnancy and birth. It is stories like those that remind me that nothing in this life is promised to us, not even tomorrow.

Stay tuned for some more posts on our thoughts on expanding our family and preparations we need to make to get ready for this little bundle. We are officially going to be outnumbered and I would be lying if I didn't say I was a little scared.

Calvin is also 100% convinced this baby is a girl. His reasoning is "I already have a brother, this is a sister." Only time will tell.

Thank you for keeping our sweet little baby in your prayers.
